The Role: CNC Supervisor 

Location: Cardiff (Office based)

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (dependant on experience)

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Contract: Full-time

 

Position Overview: 

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced CNC Supervisor to join our team and supervise our CNC Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervising a team programming and machining projects to the highest standards using 3-Axis CNC machines, a CNC Plasma machine, a 7-Axis Kuka milling machine, a laser cutter, 3D printers and vacuum forming. 
  • Offering training & guidance to department staff and implementing best practice. 
  • Ensuring department deadlines are met and overall efficiency of staff.
  • Record keeping ‘as built’ information. 
  • Developing the CNC department; researching and implementing materials & methods alongside the design department.
  • Any other duties that may be reasonable within the scope of the position.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years experience in a CNC machining environment 
  • Experience of supervising teams 
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively 
  • A multi-disciplined skill set
  • Great communication skills
  • Great problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
