Matt Wild founded Wild Creations in 2010, following a successful freelance career in TV set dressing. Matt’s background in stage management and technical theatre and previous work in music, theatre and corporate events lends him a well-rounded background and experience to turn the company’s hand to any challenge it faces.

Matt prides himself with harnessing a supportive and friendly environment for the 31 full time employees and our bank of some very talented freelance craftspeople.

Matt prides himself on Wild Creations' attention to detail, quality of build and realising the weird and the wonderful!

Samantha joined Wild Creations in 2011, bringing with her a host of creative skills, and an assurance that everything leaving our workshop is up to the high-exacting Wild Creations standard.

Having trained in Ceramics and specialising in sculpture at University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, Samantha’s expertise in sculpting, final finish and scenic painting gives her first-hand experience of all our creative departments, and an ability to have an overview of everything technical and creative.

Dave is our resident logistical expert; with a degree in stage management from Rose Bruford College and a solid background in international touring and rigging, Dave has headed up our workshop since 2015.

Following all of our projects from construction drawings to completion, Dave heads up a team of experts to ensure our projects run smoothly. Dave is the positive driving force for staffing and procurement, keeping morale levels high and quality issues low.

Dave's background is theatre and after studying stage management at Rose Bruford he went on to take various productions on tour internationally. What he doesn't know about rigging isn't worth knowing!!

Cath has several years of experience working within the industry on a multitude of different campaigns and is known for her calm and organised approach to projects making her ideally placed to manage the team.

Nathan has been with the Wild Creations team since 2016 originally starting with a degree in Television and Film Set Design and with his wealth of experience in the industry is ideally placed to run the team. Outside of the workshop, he utilises innovative techniques and technology to create beautiful, handmade pottery.

Mo looks after accounts and administration and as a stickler for detail leaves no stone unturned! She is an important part of the team, who ensures smooth running and will generally be your first point of contact at the company on the other end of the phone.

Everything from batteries to the companies accounts, Mo knows where to find it when the rest of us have "man looked!!"

'Cush' (as we all call him) has over thirty years of working in events and touring productions, including for The Rolling Stones and Ed Sheeran. He has a degree in 3D Design and ceramics and he also has a PHD in Art practice, with exhibitions internationally and nationally.

He is integral to run a crew and never goes anywhere without a kettle and tea in his van, just incase! His wide variety of skills makes him ideally placed to work on our installations.

Having worked in entertainment for seventeen years, Rich has a strong history of Event & Technical Production Management, with production experience in entertainment tech, carpentry and electrics for the PGA Tour, Disney Cruise Line, BBC, and Premier UK Events.

Rich takes an in-depth, hands-on approach to projects, getting fully involved in problem solving and quality control. Rich prides himself on his efficiency and attention to detail, while providing a friendly and professional atmosphere for clients and production staff alike.

With a background in stop motion animation, Hannah joined Wild Creations in 2016, she has worked in our mould making department where her keen attention to detail demonstrated a talent for organisation which, along with her in depth understanding of the everyday running of the workshop, made her ideally placed for her current role.

After leaving the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Corp, Mark retrained as a carpenter and joined the team in 2015. With a fine eye for detail he is a master craftsman which makes him perfect to supervise our construction department.

Ceri has been with the Wild Creations team since 2015 and as prop maker has a wide knowledge of our processes and techniques.

Ceri studied art and product design at the University of Glamorgan and before joining us ran her own coffee shop. She is famous at Wild Creations for her home baked cakes which all the team benefit from!

Aleks is one of our Design Supervisors and has a wide background within CAD design for multiple industries before settling into our design team.

Emily joined our full-time team in 2021, having worked freelance with Wild Creations since 2017. Emily has a degree in Design for Film and Television from Nottingham Trent University. Her upbeat approach to quality assurance and dedication to open communication with clients makes Emily a principal player in our management team, when not in the office she's often at the beach with her dog Logan.

With an experienced background in mould making, Liam has freelanced with us for several years, before taking on the position of senior Prop Maker. Liam also has experience in Special Effects and makes some pretty impressive halloween costumes!

Ellis has several years of experience in carpentry and he can often be found working on site, using his problem solving abilities and resourcefulness.

He also has a background in sound engineering which can come in quite useful on occasion!

Ben worked with us freelance within our Carpentry Department before progressing to a full time position with our Final Assembly team where his fine attention to detail and problem solving skills have come in very useful. When he's not out on an install you'll often find him out hiking with his dog Wesley.

After finishing a degree in Arts in Photography, Bertie freelanced for several years working as a Scenic and Prop Maker in a variety of industries including TV, Theatre and immersive experiences. The skills he has gained over the years have put him in a great position to join our Supervisor Team.

Dom had studied Fine Art before moving to study Carpentry at Cardiff Vale College, he has a varied range of skills and is a talented welder.

James comes from a background in Fine Art and is also a talented Carpenter and Welder, he can often be found on site, where his varied skill set comes in handy!

Hebe originally joined the company within the welding department after studying Professional Stage Management, she has now transferred her skills to our drawings department.

With Sarah's background in architecture, it puts her in a great position to work within our draughting department.

Jon has a background in mechanical engineering, and has also worked in automotive aerospace before joining the design team.

Matt works in our CNC department and has a great knowledge of how all of the different machines we use on a daily basis work.

You can often see his Jurassic Park Jeep, complete with animatronic baby Triceratops he built by hand parked up outside the workshop.

Haz has experience in Prop Making and Special Effects and has recently joined our team on a full time basis within the workshop and on site.

Mark help to ensure the smooth running of our workshop, from keeping track of all the different "Goods In" we receive for our projects, to making sure the workshop stays clean, tidy and organised.

Julio has recently joined our welding team, bringing his skills and upbeat attitude to the team.

Rae Colley is an experienced Prop Maker who originally joined us through a work placement for her degree, she's now a Full-time member of the Moulding and Casting team.

With previous experience in Design and Project Management, Marc has now joined our team in the draughting department.

Callum has recently joined our Prop Making team on a full time basis, he has a variety of experience in finishing and often makes use of it in his free time working on his car.

Gareth has now joined the welding team after initially working for us on a freelance basis within our Carpentry department.

With a degree in Prop Making for Film and TV, Niall initially came to us on Work Experience before graduating and now joining our team on a permanent basis.
