Location: Cardiff (Workshop)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum – dependant on experience

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week – 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be needed)

Contract: Fixed-term contract – End date: 31st January 2027 

Job Summary

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Project Manager who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment, someone who can juggle multiple projects and still keep an eye on the finer details. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing events, retail fit-outs and hotel refurbishment projects with a strong understanding of print production – particularly in relation to large-format graphics, wall coverings and custom printed carpets. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and coordination skills who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess requirements and plan installation logistics.
  • Coordinate with printers, suppliers, contractors and our internal creative teams to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.
  • Work closely with designers to ensure artwork and print assets are accurate and practical for production.
  • Oversee the production and installation of wall graphics, signage, printed carpets and other large-format print materials.
  • Keep clients and stakeholders informed – communicating project goals, progress and timelines clearly and consistently.
  • Manage project budgets and costs, forecasting spend and finding smart ways to save without compromising quality.
  • Identify potential risks early and take proactive steps to keep projects on track.
  • Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, encouraging collaboration and accountability across design, production and installation.
  • Liaise with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and flawless quality.
  • Maintain excellent quality control throughout every stage of the project.
  • Uphold all company and industry health and safety standards on-site and in the workshop.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong project management experience in events, retail or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing hotel refurbishment or fit-out projects from concept to completion.
  • In-depth understanding of large-format print production – particularly wall graphics, signage and printed carpets.
  • Comfortable working with printers, installers and construction or refurbishment teams.
  • Excellent organisational, budgeting and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and client liaison skills – able to work confidently with suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
  • Working knowledge of CAD drawings, floor plans or print specifications is a bonus.
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset and a calm, positive approach under pressure.
  • Natural leadership ability with a collaborative, team-first attitude.

Desirable Qualities

  • Familiarity with branding and design within hospitality environments.
  • Understanding of building and safety regulations in commercial spaces.
  • Passion for creative, technical projects and an eye for innovation and detail.
  • Experience working with international clients or cross-border teams.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings and on-site project delivery.
