Matt Wild founded Wild Creations in 2010, following a successful freelance career in TV set dressing. Matt’s background in stage management and technical theatre and previous work in music, theatre and corporate events lends him a well-rounded background and experience to turn the company’s hand to any challenge it faces.

Matt prides himself with harnessing a supportive and friendly environment for all of the full time employees and our bank of very talented freelance craftspeople.

Matt prides himself on Wild Creations' attention to detail, quality of build and realising the weird and the wonderful!

Samantha joined Wild Creations in 2011, bringing with her a host of creative skills, and an assurance that everything leaving our workshop is up to the high-exacting Wild Creations standard.

Having trained in Ceramics and specialising in sculpture at University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, Samantha’s expertise in sculpting, final finish and scenic painting gives her first-hand experience of all our creative departments, and an ability to have an overview of everything technical and creative.

Chris Smith, former Senior Scenic Manager at Universal Creative, has joined Wild Creations in a U.S. Development role where he will lead our expansion and client engagement across the United States.
With nearly 30 years of experience in themed entertainment, project design and strategic management, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and industry connections that will reinforce our reputation for designing and fabricating imaginative installations that blend creative innovation with operational practicality.

Chris has been involved in significant high profile projects, from his first assignment with Universal at Universal Islands of Adventure to later roles that included the scenic development of Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge at Universal Studios Hollywood and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Universal’s Epic Universe.

Cath has been with Wild Creations since 2017, and helped grow the Projects team to what it is today.

Her background in photography keeps our Projects Team focused on the details, while keeping the bigger picture in mind. Her commitment to deadlines, timelines and budgets keeps her in the perfect place at the head of the team, and her flexibility to changing conditions is perfectly balanced in equal measure.

As the longest serving member of the Project Management Team, she provides an open ear in troubled times, and an encouraging and welcoming atmosphere to keep her team on track and in great spirits.

Nathan has been with the Wild Creations team since 2016 originally starting with a degree in Television and Film Set Design and with his wealth of experience in the industry is ideally placed to run the team. Outside of the workshop, he utilises innovative techniques and technology to create beautiful, handmade pottery.

Dave is our resident logistical expert; with a degree in stage management from Rose Bruford College and a solid background in international touring and rigging, Dave has headed up our workshop since 2015.

Following all of our projects from construction drawings to completion, Dave heads up a team of experts to ensure our projects run smoothly. Dave is the positive driving force for staffing and procurement, keeping morale levels high and quality issues low.

Dave's background is theatre and after studying stage management at Rose Bruford he went on to take various productions on tour internationally. What he doesn't know about rigging isn't worth knowing!!

Cam has joined our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Installations. Cam brings a wealth of knowledge to this role following an eleven year career in large-scale installations for musical theatre, most noticeably for Disney Theatrical Group and Cameron Mackintosh.

Cam’s proven ability to manage multiple international installations simultaneously makes him perfect to oversee Wild Creations’ Installation department.

Cam’s main focus is bringing a project to life to the highest standard which gives him a scrupulous eye for detail and planning.

Mo looks after our finances and is brilliant at the details - leaving no stone unturned! She is an important part of the team, who ensures smooth running of the business.

Emily joined our full-time team in 2021, having worked freelance with Wild Creations since 2017. Emily has a degree in Design for Film and Television from Nottingham Trent University. Her upbeat approach to quality assurance and dedication to open communication with clients makes Emily a principal player in our management team, when not in the office she's often at the beach with her dog Logan.

Demetri is one of Nathan’s right hand man, assisting in the successful running of projects within the Design team. Demetri will run teams of Designers and ensure their designs are followed through accurately within the workshop.

Demetri worked with us for a number of years whilst studying a degree in Architecture and Planning, and brings his construction and drawing knowledge, along with his expertise in the inner workings of our machines, to assist our design department in taking their digital files and turning them into real-world items.

With a background in stop motion animation, Hannah joined Wild Creations in 2016, she has worked in our mould making department where her keen attention to detail demonstrated a talent for organisation which, along with her in depth understanding of the everyday running of the workshop, made her ideally placed for her current role.

After leaving the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Corp, Mark retrained as a carpenter and joined the team in 2015. With a fine eye for detail he is a master craftsman which makes him perfect to supervise our carpentry department.

With an experienced background in mould making, Liam has freelanced with us for several years, before taking on the position of senior Prop Maker. Liam is now Supervisor for our Moulding & Casting department and has experience in Special Effects - he makes some pretty impressive halloween costumes!

Ben worked with us freelance within our Carpentry Department before progressing to a full time position with our Install team where his fine attention to detail and problem solving skills have come in very useful. When he's not out on an install you'll often find him out hiking with his dog Wesley.

After finishing a degree in Arts in Photography, Bertie freelanced for several years working as a Scenic and Prop Maker in a variety of industries including TV, Theatre and immersive experiences. The skills he has gained over the years have put him in a great position to join our Supervisor Team.

Dom had studied Fine Art before moving to study Carpentry at Cardiff Vale College, he has a varied range of skills and now leads our welding department.

Haz has experience in Prop Making and Special Effects and has joined our team on a full time basis within the Installation department.

With Sarah's background in architecture, it puts her in a great position to work within our Design department.

Matt works in our CNC department and has a great knowledge of how all of the different machines we use on a daily basis work.

You can often see his Jurassic Park Jeep, complete with animatronic baby Triceratops he built by hand parked up outside the workshop.

Jon has a background in mechanical engineering, and has also worked in automotive aerospace before joining the design team.

Mark help to ensure the smooth running of our workshop, from keeping track of all the different "Goods In" we receive for our projects, to making sure the workshop stays clean, tidy and organised.

Rae Colley is an experienced Prop Maker who originally joined us through a work placement for her degree, she's now a Full-time member of the Moulding and Casting team.

Callum has recently joined our Prop Making team on a full time basis, he has a variety of experience in finishing and often makes use of it in his free time working on his car.

Gareth has now joined the welding team after initially working for us on a freelance basis within our Carpentry department.
