The Role:  Freelance Prop Maker – Finishing Speciality

Location: Cardiff (Workshop based)

Freelance Rate: £15 – £18 p/h – dependant on experience
Working hours available: 37.5 hours per week 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate items as required as a Prop Maker including, but not limited to;
    • Finishing projects to the highest standard including sanding & filling, scenic paintwork, high-finish spray coatings
    • Applying coatings to structural framework ensuring specified coverage is met
  • Keep records of ‘as built’ information
  • Assist with test builds where applicable
  • Work on site where required
  • Adhere to allotted schedule and time allowance
  • Adhere to Wild Creations Health & Safety Policy & Procedure
  • Maintain a positive attitude and encourage a positive working environment
  • Maintain a professional manner when addressing Wild Creations Staff, Contractors & Clients

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Prop Making with a specialty in Finishing

    • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
