Location: Cardiff (Workshop based)
Salary: £26,000 – £28,500 per annum (Dependant on experience)
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week – 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Role Responsibilities:
- Perform Welding operations, using various welding techniques – predominately MIG Welding but also TIG and aluminium, according to detailed engineering/production drawings
- Fabricate items to the high standards expected of our work, ensuring welds are strong and durable whilst adhering to strict deadlines
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- To conduct weld procedures and inspections to identify defects and ensuring compliance with the specifications
- The ability to work with different types of metals and alloys, understanding their properties and the appropriate welding methods to use
- Following strict health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Record Keeping and documentation
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the welding and fabrication industry, demonstrating practical skills and knowledge.
- Understanding of industry standards and best practices in welding and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and aluminium welding. We’ll provide training to achieve our EN1090 standards.
- Experience in reading and interpreting engineering/production drawings/blueprints to fabricate metal components.
- Precision and attention to detail with the ability to produce welds and fabrications with high accuracy and quality standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
Desirable Skills
- Relevant certifications such as City & Guilds, NVQs, or equivalent in welding and fabrication.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations such as CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) or similar.
